Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Sales Engineer to join our team in the solar PV and energy storage sector.

This role will involve providing technical expertise and solution design support during the sales process for solar photovoltaic and energy storage systems.

Collaboration with sales teams and customers is essential in developing customized renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers and sales teams to gather requirements and design tailored solar PV and energy storage solutions.
  • Prepare technical proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for potential projects.
  • Provide in-depth technical knowledge of solar inverters, energy storage chargers, and energy management platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to validate technical accuracy of solutions.
  • Support responses to RFPs and tenders with technical inputs.
  • Deliver training and workshops on renewable energy technologies to clients and partners.
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical sales support in solar PV or energy storage.
  • Strong understanding of solar energy systems, battery storage, and power electronics.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, client-friendly language.
