We are seeking an experienced **Engineering Leader**specializing in solar project development and technical advisory services to serve as a **Regional Subject Matter Expert (SME)**. The role involves overseeing client projects across the entire lifecycle—from development to operational optimization—and includes the opportunity to build and lead a team of experts as the company expands.

This role offers the chance to join a global advisory team and grow with the company’s expansion in the region.
- Act as the Regional SME, ensuring technical excellence within the team and across all projects.
- Support clients during all phases of a project, including pre-investment, development, construction, and operations.
- Provide expert review and sign-off on Energy Yield Assessments (EYAs) and long-term energy forecasts.
- Lead internal training programs and mentor junior engineers to improve team capabilities.
- Work closely with commercial, legal, and project management teams to create client proposals and define project scopes.
- Represent the organization at industry events, client meetings, and technical panels.
- Innovate by developing new methods and tools to improve the accuracy and efficiency of our technical assessments.
- Conduct peer reviews of deliverables to maintain consistency and technical quality.
- Write technical whitepapers and industry articles to strengthen the company's brand and expertise.
- Travel moderately (20-25%) for site visits and client meetings across the APAC region or globally.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, with a focus on solar technical advisory, consulting, or project development.
- Proficiency in solar modeling and analysis software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope. PVCase) is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of SCADA data analysis and operational performance assessments.
- Proven experience in client engagement, writing technical reports, and leading complex advisory projects.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information clearly to clients.
