Electrical Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead and manage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing electrical system designs, ensuring timely delivery, and adhering to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee electrical system designs, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other building components.
  • Prepare detailed project specifications, cost estimates, and design programs.
  • Manage project finances and resources to meet agreed-upon deliverables within budget.
  • Conduct quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional development.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project requirements and progress.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a proven track record in design and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including local regulations.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software, such as AutoCAD or Revit MEP.
  • Experience with BIM software packages and their application in electrical design.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage resources, timelines, and budgets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
