Proposal Manager - Industrial Applications

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development of proposals for industrial applications customer base.

  • Develop proposals as a technical lead by reviewing client's request for quotation (RFQ) and performing equipment selections using company or other engineering tools.
  • Prepare outside purchase equipment (OPE) RFQs and collaborate with supply chain managers to engage and align for a compliant offer.
  • Oversee cost integration and analysis, considering technical and commercial risk assessment prior to arriving at final pricing.
  • Support sales managers in developing technical and commercial strategies for successful implementation of the order capture process and participate in the development of quantified value propositions.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the proposal development process, ensuring that all requirements are met and that the proposal is presented in a clear and compelling manner.

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in rotating equipment such as gas turbines, steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, centrifugal pumps, motors, etc.
  • Experience in combined cycle design for modules or power plant will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent written, verbal communications, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support training, project presentations, bid clarification, and project kick-off meetings.
