Job Title: Test Engineer Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the product development group, you will be responsible for performing setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.

You will determine and develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams. Your tasks will include testing and troubleshooting assemblies and/or final systems, completing rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing, and preparing technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.

In addition, you may assist in the selection and setup of specialized test equipment.

Requirements:

  • Perform setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.

  • Determine and develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.

  • Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems, complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing, and prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.

  • Assist in the selection and setup of specialized test equipment.

  • Work closely with colleagues to resolve technical problems and set up experiments.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering and previous hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment. Experience with optics alignment is advantageous, and strong troubleshooting and analytical skills are required.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and people skills are also necessary, as you will work closely with colleagues to resolve technical problems and set up experiments.
