Job Title: Test Engineering Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Test Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting new business plans by actively participating in cost, capability, and capacity studies. Your expertise in identifying new technologies and developing new capabilities for Test will be essential in driving the growth and success of our company.

In this role, you will be responsible for controlling and managing resources to maximize test equipment uptime and capacity for production requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective strategies for improving test systems and test procedures.

You will also be responsible for maintaining documentation systems, participating in employee involvement teams, and conducting regular PM on test equipment. Additionally, you will provide training to Test Engineering Assistants/Technicians and perform special projects as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10-15 years of experience in Manufacturing, preferably with a degree in a relevant field.
  • The ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • A strong understanding of typical test equipment and software.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues and vendors.
