Job Overview

The Sub-Regional Account Lead is a critical position within the sub-regional account structure, responsible for overseeing all functional and operational aspects and contributing to the strategic growth of the business.

This role ensures efficient and consistent operation of all facility management activities to meet contractual obligations with respect to the property portfolio throughout the region, achieving cost savings, consistency, and risk management objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage work streams to support delivery teams across the region
  • Ensure consistent reporting and coordination regionally and globally
  • Utilize data to inform strategic decisions
  • Support the Regional Director in driving and achieving goals and objectives, including P&L, risk, energy targets, and account SLAs & KPIs
  • Coordinate with global functional leads to ensure delivery of account objectives
  • Manage country leads within the sub-region and serve as a contact point for account-related issues, provide training, and support issue resolution
Strategic Partnerships

Collaborate with the Regional Director in defining regional account strategy

Work with global and regional teams in defining goals and objectives

Represent the organization in internal and external networking forums and client functions

Financial Acumen / Cost Management / Profitability

Lead the operational review process and facilitate provision of accurate financial and commercial information to the account Regional Director, along with regional management and the global account executive team as required on a monthly basis.

In conjunction with Finance Leads, support preparation of accurate budgets and forecasts

Manage and control account P&L with Finance Leads to achieve business financial objectives

Client Relationships

Develop strong relationships with key personnel in client organizations

Establish close contact with client organizations to remain informed about current strategy, thinking, policies, and procedures

Talent Development

Work with regional Human Resources lead on recruitment and selection strategies

Collaborate with Regional Director and global Subject Matter Experts in defining and driving performance management of staff

Work with regional Human Resources to develop region-specific training and skills development programs and ensure global training targets are met

Ensure succession plans are in place for key personnel in the regional team and coordinate same for all client service delivery staff through the management team

Senior Leadership Responsibilities

Active participation or representation in in-Country IFM management meetings

Identify issues and assess problems using a logical and rational approach and develop options and strategies to resolve

Organize regular operational meetings to ensure SMEs and hub/country leads are aligned

Organize regular forums for networking and engagement for senior regional management
