Responsibilities
  1. Lead the operations of the Guest Services Department, ensuring seamless execution of front desk, concierge, bell, driveway, and communication centre tasks.
  2. Develop and implement a consistent guest recognition program, ensuring accurate recording and regular updating of guest information in their profiles.
  3. Assist the Director of Guest Experience in preparing and monitoring the annual department operating budget, focusing on monthly expenses, wages, variances, scheduling, ordering, and inventory management.
  4. Ensure strict adherence to the Department Operational Budget and monitor service and operation standards in the hotel.
  5. Be available and on duty during peak periods, participating in MOD schedules and conducting frequent room inspections in liaison with Housekeeping.
  6. Establish rapport with guests, maintaining good customer relationships and handling all guest complaints, requests, and enquiries on Guest Services.
  7. Verify guest check-in and out processes, ensuring the best possible service delivery.
  8. Ensure the Guest Services Department meets quality and internal standards, identifying process improvements and best practices to enhance the guest experience.
  9. Maintain standards of guest service quality, analysing response time to guest requests and highlighting any issues to the respective department head.
  10. Project a warm, professional, and welcoming image for the Guest Services team.
Requirements
  • A higher diploma or degree holder in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum three years of previous experience in a front office managerial position in an established or luxury/upscale or boutique hotel.
  • Service-oriented, attentive to details, and observant with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Adaptable and outgoing with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and be flexible as part of a pre-opening team.
  • Passionate and enthusiastic with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
