Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned product leader to spearhead the development and implementation of innovative public sector solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Define Product Vision: Develop a clear product vision that aligns with national priorities and public service goals.
  • Public Needs and Policy Understanding: Gather insights from citizens, businesses, and government agencies to inform product development; understand and incorporate relevant policies, regulations, and national digital strategies into product planning.
  • Cross-Agency Collaboration: Partner with various government agencies and departments to ensure product requirements are well-understood and meet stakeholder needs; facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure alignment and effective project execution.
  • Product Development and Implementation: Define and prioritize product features and requirements based on public sector goals and citizen needs; oversee the product lifecycle from concept through launch and monitor post-launch enhancements and optimizations.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Set clear metrics and KPIs to evaluate product performance and public impact; ensure transparency and accountability by reporting on product progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Leadership and Public Service Values: Provide leadership and mentorship to junior product managers and project teams, promoting public service values; foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team oriented towards public service excellence.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field; extensive experience in product management or a related field, with a focus on public sector or government projects preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset; excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with government officials and stakeholders; proficiency in using product management and analytics tools, and familiarity with government digital platforms.
  • Personal Attributes: Collaborative with strong interpersonal skills to work across different government agencies and departments; strategic thinker with the ability to execute initiatives that align with public policy and national goals; demonstrated commitment to public service values and delivering impactful citizen-centered services.
