Lead Pastor Opportunity

The church is seeking a dedicated and visionary leader to oversee the Mandarin Worship Service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering spiritual growth and ministry direction.

  • Foster a welcoming environment for congregants, encouraging holistic spiritual growth through discipleship classes and worship services.
  • Develop and implement preaching schedules, ensuring consistency with church doctrine and direction.
  • Equip small group leaders to nurture spiritual development among congregants.
  • Create discipleship groups for adults and children, promoting spiritual growth and community building.
  • Administer sacraments and perform special services as ordained.
  • Cultivate relationships among members and newcomers, providing pastoral care and mentoring.

Requirements:
  • A mature disciple with evidence of a growing relationship with Christ Jesus.
  • Experience in ministering to young adults in a church or parachurch setting.
  • Minimum 2 years of formal theological training or plans to progress to seminary education.
  • Possession of skills in preaching and teaching is an advantage.
  • A passion for reaching out to the Mandarin-speaking community and desire to see them grow in their faith.
  • Ability to connect with seniors, Mandarin-speaking communities, and families.
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • A collaborative approach to engage all stakeholders.
  • Able to work weekends with Monday off.
