Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Forwarding Manager to drive project success by overseeing day-to-day operations across sea, air, and road freight forwarding.

  • Manage export and import operations for key clients in Singapore and worldwide, ensuring proactive strategies and successful outcomes.
  • Negotiate with carriers, haulers, agents, and offices to secure competitive pricing, building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and cargo handlers.
  • Participate in RFQs, RFIs, and tenders to prepare rate proposals and technical submissions, supervising loading and discharging operations at ports and customer sites.
  • Track shipment status and update stakeholders, preparing costs and invoicing per shipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have at least 10 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, showcasing industry knowledge. Additionally, you should be skilled in Microsoft Office and have CargoWise experience, which is a plus.

  • You should possess technical knowledge about Heavy lifts, over dimensional cargo, Vessel types, and Method Statements.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects efficiently, possessing strong cross-functional and cross-cultural communication skills, fluency in English.
  • Customer-focused, detail-oriented, and possessing excellent analytical and organizational abilities are essential qualities for this position.
