Senior Nurse Manager

The Labour and Delivery ward is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where our experienced nursing staff deliver high-quality care to patients in need of obstetric and gynaecological services. As a Senior Nurse Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of this critical area of our hospital, ensuring that patient care meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure that all aspects of patient care are provided with compassion, respect and dignity
- Manage the team of nurses and other support staff to achieve excellent patient outcomes
- Collaborate with doctors, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless care
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient safety and experience
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the ward and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an obstetric or gynaecology setting
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families and colleagues
- Ability to think critically and solve problems independently
- Post-basic qualifications in Midwifery are desirable
