Supervise Laboratory Operations and Ensure Quality Control
- Lead a team of laboratory assistants to check, test, and inspect raw materials, goods in process, and finished products.
- Coordinate day-to-day activities of laboratory assistants, prioritize tasks, and ensure resource utilization efficiency.
- Assist QC Manager in classification of final product and reworked lots.
- Investigate quality issues, implement improvements from analysis gap studies.
- Monitor in-process samples, liaison with production teams for preventive & corrective actions.
- Prepare activity and progression reports to identify recurring problems and address them.
- Monitor staff, equipment, and laboratory processes to ensure quality control system effectiveness and efficiency.
- Preparation of quality and budget reports and updates.
- Training of lab assistants and shift technicians on laboratory work.
- Supervise and coach team members.
- Supports QC department functions onsite and off-site as necessary.
- Degree in Chemical related field or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience in Laboratory Testing (Wet Chemistry).
- Able to supervise and lead a team of Laboratory Assistants.
- Good understanding of laboratory equipment such as GC, AAS, Auto-titrator, NIR etc.
- Experience of Manual Testing.
