We are seeking an experienced Senior Trading Systems Architect to join our team. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing our trading & risk management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic technical guidance and oversight for the development and maintenance of our trading platforms
  • Leverage expert-level knowledge of Murex, its ecosystem, and related technologies to inform architectural decisions
  • Actively participate in Agile program planning and execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize program backlog items

You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure that our platforms meet the evolving needs of our Fixed Income, Currency, and Commodities (FICC) business. Your expertise in designing high-performant IT systems, API management, and system scalability will be instrumental in driving innovation and growth within the organization.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead technical initiatives, develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, and collaborate with internal teams to drive technical strategy and direction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience preferably in the financial industry involving Murex
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Architecture or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering
  • Experience with java applications, messaging systems, and design & configuration of pre-trades rules
  • Relevant experience as solution / system or application architect, with knowledge of banking, finance, or trading sectors
  • Strong technical background with experience in designing, building, and scaling highly performant IT systems
