Warehouse Operations Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Specialist to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in overseeing daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching products.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of goods within cold room facilities.
  • Supervise warehouse staff and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and conduct regular stock checks.
  • Coordinate with procurement and sales teams for stock replenishment.
  • Oversee forklift and pallet jack operations, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the warehouse environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent; diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain/Warehouse Management preferred.
  • Good knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse best practices.
  • Able to work in cold room environment (temperature up to -18°C).
  • Forklift license and relevant safety certifications are an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • This position involves physically carrying/moving items which could weigh up to 30 kgs.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
