Hospital Redevelopment Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced M&E Engineer to join our team to work on the redevelopment of a hospital.
- Evaluate consultants' designs of M&E systems to ensure they meet requirements of an acute cum community setting hospital.
- Work closely with Facilities Management, Development team, and Operations and Clinical users from various departments to ascertain requirements for M&E systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and lead M&E engagements with consultants and stakeholders to ensure sessions are productive and stakeholders can make informed decisions.
- Follow through with stakeholders' engagement to document discussions and disseminate them to relevant parties.
- Work closely with consultants to capture all stakeholders' requirements.
- Monitor design and construction timelines to meet overall project timeline.
- Presentation of M&E design proposals for management clearance.
- Review contract packaging and specs.
- Involve in site coordination including technical coordination due to user requests, mock-up reviews, T&C etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably with project management experience.
- Candidates with healthcare background highly preferred.
- Knowledge of IT systems, IT integrations and smart technologies is an added advantage.
- Knowledgeable in planning, developing, and managing infrastructure projects.
- Capable of conducting effective and productive stakeholder engagement sessions.
- Proficient in documentation to accurately record discussions for future use.
- Passionate about healthcare planning topics and issues, able to guide hospital development effectively.
- Strong language skills.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication abilities.
