Job Overview

This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of our data centre, ensuring that all systems and facilities are functioning optimally.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with experience in managing 24/7 data centre operations. They should be well-versed in chilled and condenser water system dynamics and operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing event monitoring, updating documentation, and coordinating with stakeholders to resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

">
  1. Perform event monitoring for all data centre critical facilities infrastructure.
  2. Update and maintain all DC related documentation.
  3. Coordinate with various stakeholders to fix technical issues.
  4. Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP), method of procedures (MOP), and emergency response procedures (ERP).
  5. Manage incidents and closure, including root cause analysis on incidents.
  6. Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure contractual service level agreements are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A diploma or degree in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical & Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 6-7 years of working experience managing 24x7 DC Operations.
  • 2-3 years hands-on experience in chilled and condenser water system.
  • Good communication and people management skills.
  • Basic Certificate in CDCP, DCPRO if any.
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Well-organized and able to reschedule priorities as circumstances change.
