As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in improving the mental health of children and adolescents in schools.

The successful candidate will formulate and develop care management plans for referred students in collaboration with community partners. They will also support Allied Educators in schools to manage students with mental health conditions.

This role involves developing a mental health network for children and adolescents in the community.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective care management plans for students with mental health conditions.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students, as needed.
  • Collaborate with school staff, community agencies, and parents to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in clinical psychology.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology or Educational Psychology from a recognized university.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work independently in a multidisciplinary team, as well as with professionals from other organizations.
  • Proficiency in communication skills (spoken and written); proficiency in a second language (spoken) is preferred.
  • Well-developed clinical assessment and formulation skills.
  • Experience in conducting cognitive and academic assessments (preferred).
  • Eligible for valid registration, license or practicing certificate with an established or recognized psychological professional body such as SRP, APA, APS or BPS.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
  • Knowledge of child development theory and research.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, community agencies, and parents.
