Job Description

The Senior Environmental Health and Safety Specialist will play a key role in driving Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs to ensure regulatory compliance and promote continuous improvement.

">

This position will be responsible for performing a wide range of health and safety compliance duties including equipment and facility permitting, compliance auditing, management of change and chemical authorization approvals, record keeping and reporting, liaison with local authorities.

">

The EHS Specialist will work closely with site operations and other EHS staff to ensure EHS programs and management systems are in place to minimize risks to employees and the environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Evaluating and mitigating environmental hazards and developing corrective action plans;">
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards;">
  • Developing and implementing training programs for employees on EHS best practices;">
  • Investigating incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions;">
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement EHS policies and procedures;">

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field;">
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS, preferably in the semiconductor industry;">
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 and OSHA regulations;">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;">
  • Ability to analyze data and develop reports.">
