Job Title: Dedicated Healthcare Professional

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and support in a hospital or hospice setting. Reporting to the Nurse Manager / Nurse Clinician, you will be accountable for ensuring nursing care services are safe, competent, and individualized.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient-centric care
  • Upholding nursing standards in documentation, treatment, patient monitoring, and infection control
  • Allocating equipment as necessary to meet care requirements
  • Communicating and building rapport with patients and their families or caregivers
  • Coordinating patient care through advising physicians, providing direct patient care, evaluating patient conditions, and serving as a liaison between families and physicians
  • Participating in Multidisciplinary Team meetings to ensure smooth delivery of patient care and services
  • Observing organizational and legal requirements regarding storage and control of drugs and medical supplies
  • Maintaining proper documentation of patients' condition and accurate data collection
  • Monitoring, reassessing, and evaluating patient conditions to implement effective care plans
  • Performing nursing care such as medication administration and wound dressing as required
  • Fulfilling the role of buddy by mentoring junior staff for performance excellence and career development
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A Diploma in Nursing from a local Polytechnic and registration with the Singapore Nursing Board
  • Post-registration experience in a hospital or hospice setting is preferred
  • Knowledge in IT and systems
  • Possession of excellent customer service skills and a passion to serve
  • Meticulous and accurate work habits
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and contribute as an effective team player
