Clinic Assistant

Our Pediatric and Child Health Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Healthcare Support Worker to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist doctors during patient consultations and procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
  • Perform basic clinical tasks such as measuring vital signs, height, and weight of patients with accuracy and precision.
  • Prepare consultation rooms and ensure medical equipment is clean, well-maintained, and readily available for use.
  • Handle patient registration, appointment scheduling, and follow-ups with efficiency and courtesy.
  • Provide front-desk support, including answering phone calls and responding to patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, assisting in electronic medical documentation and data management.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as billing, stock-taking, and inventory of clinic supplies with attention to detail and organization.
  • Ensure a clean, child-friendly, and safe clinic environment at all times, adhering to high standards of hygiene and infection control.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and maintain compliance with clinic protocols and healthcare regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum O-level qualification and at least 2 years of working experience in a clinic or healthcare setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly when interacting with children and parents, are essential for this role.
