Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership - Supervise a team of staff to ensure effective collaboration and productivity.
  • Financial Compliance - Ensure transaction postings align with Singapore Financial Reporting standards and policies, maintaining accuracy and integrity.
  • Asset Management - Monitor assets under construction, ensuring timely follow-up actions and asset capitalisation for optimal utilisation.
  • Audit Review - Conduct thorough reviews of fixed asset audit schedules within agreed timelines, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Liaison - Establish strong relationships with stakeholders on Fixed Asset related matters, fostering open communication and cooperation.
  • Training and Development - Provide coaching, performance feedback, and training to achieve corporate goals and enhance employee skills.
  • Process Improvement - Regularly review work processes for efficiency and internal control improvements, implementing best practices and innovations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Accounting Degree or Certification - Possess an accountancy degree or ACCA qualification as a foundation for financial expertise.
  • Professional Experience - Minimum 3 years' experience in Accounting & Finance, with at least 1 year's supervisory experience, demonstrating leadership and management capabilities.
  • Technical Proficiency - Familiarity with SAP is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, enhancing technical skills and adaptability.
  • Personal Attributes - Independent, self-driven, meticulous, customer-service oriented, and possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills.
