Job Description:

The role of the Assistant Director of Sales is to assist in the overall Sales function. This involves planning and organizing Sales & Marketing activities as well as leading and directing the sales team towards achieving business results. The Assistant Director of Sales functions as the leader of the property's sales effort and is responsible for implementing the sales strategy and achieving revenue goals. Leads and manages all day-to-day activities related to sales with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the preparation of the Strategic Business and Operating Plans including preparing annual Sales and Marketing Plan.
  • Review and participate in the yield management techniques for Rooms including development and execution of Web strategy – by segment.
  • Participation in developing and reviewing rate structures and conditions applicable to various segments, based on market feedback and market conditions.
  • From market research, assist in the development of new products and guest services in all revenue generating departments, consistent with the goal of exceeding budget and guest expectations.

Performance Analysis:

Assist in leading the department in establishing specific and measurable goals covering all aspects of the Departments operation, devising and implementing action plans for their achievement.


Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Sales and Marketing management in hospitality industry.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of hotels operations and service standards, preferably within Luxury Hotels and Resorts.
Strong financial acumen and experience in forecasting and budget management.
Exceptional ability to establish and foster long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to work autonomously, and within a team environment.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
