Research and Development Engineer

This is a challenging role for an experienced mechanical design engineer who wants to join a research team. As a Research and Development Engineer, you will play a key part in designing new products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate conceptual proposals in support of mechanical design reviews.
  • Design and develop complex mechanical components using 3D CAD modeling software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate designs into larger systems.
  • Develop and maintain detailed product bill of materials.
  • Establish test plans and conduct testing as needed.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Master's in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in product development life cycle.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in mechanical design.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software such as SolidWorks and Pro-Engineer.
  • Knowledge of DFM practices and ability to work with vendors on design for manufacturability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate design intent effectively.
