Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Human Factors Expert to provide scientific guidance on matters related to Human Factor Engineering (HFE) for the Army, developing and refining protocols for the test and evaluation of Army soldier systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop HFE test and evaluation protocols to ensure effective system design and functionality.
  • Review HFE requirements for Army systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Promote best practices and efficient decision-making across capability development.
  • Analyze tasks and gaps to optimize resource allocation and minimize risks.
  • Lead research and development initiatives to advance HFE knowledge and applications.
  • Foster collaboration among multiple stakeholders to facilitate communication.
  • Provide scientific input for system modifications to ensure operational integrity.
Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience in human factor research or systems/equipment evaluation/project management in the human factor domain.
  • Strong project management skills to coordinate complex projects and teams.
  • Excellent report writing abilities to produce high-quality documents.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking capabilities to analyze complex information and make informed decisions.
  • A team player with a driven and results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work with various stakeholders from different organizations.
  • Interest in human factor science and/or cognitive performance.

This is a mid-senior level position that requires a strong understanding of human factor engineering principles and applications.

Working Environment

This role will be based in Singapore and involves working closely with the Ministry of Defence and other stakeholders to drive innovation and excellence in human factor engineering.
