Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is a renowned university that engages with hundreds of global partners across education, research, and innovation domains. Our Office of International Engagement (OIE) fosters strategic international engagement to elevate NTU's global profile and standing.

The Manager, International Relations role involves developing strategies to enhance the University's relations with international partners, government agencies, and key stakeholders. This includes driving engagement strategies for assigned regions by collaborating with NTU stakeholders to ensure cohesive delivery of strategic outcomes.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Drive engagement strategies for assigned regions by collaborating with NTU stakeholders.
  • Foster a network of key partners and stakeholders locally and internationally.
  • Plan and execute high-impact programs involving international guests, official trips of NTU leaders, and other events with international stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports, communication plans, and talking points prior to NTU leaders' engagement with external parties/stakeholders, and execute on-site engagement when required.
  • Support the creation and implementation of administrative and strategic processes for NTU's internationalization strategies.
Requirements
  • Degree in a relevant field such as International Relations, Public Relations, Business, or Communications.
  • At least 5 years' experience in international relations or developing relationships with diverse stakeholders/international bodies/organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills combined with cultural and diplomatic sensitivity.
  • A good team player with strong networking skills and ability to engage people at all levels.
  • Highly adaptable, self-motivated, meticulous, and proven ability to achieve deadlines under pressure.
  • Resourceful in researching topics assigned through various sources.
  • Candidates with an established network of contacts in a region and/or proficiency in a foreign language have an added advantage.
  • Comfortable with international travel (estimated 2-3 trips per year) to support the University's activities in key regions.
