Senior IT Project Manager Position

This is a high-level leadership role overseeing end-to-end IT projects to ensure timely delivery and optimal results. The position requires coordination with cross-functional teams to align project goals, fostering collaboration and innovation.

The ideal candidate should possess exceptional organizational skills, strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and expertise in contract negotiation and vendor management. They must also have excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business stakeholders to understand their needs and offer solutions.
  • Monitor project progress and quality, suggesting improvements where necessary.
  • Lead or support the evaluation of operational impacts due to regulatory changes affecting business compliance, processes, and awareness.

The successful candidate should hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and have a minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, including 3 years in program management within a large-scale organization. PMP Certification, well-versed in JIRA and Confluence, is highly valued. Additionally, they should be agile certified (Product Owner or Scrum Master).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage vendor performance by using service level agreements and engaging with business partners.
  • Collaborate with teams to continuously improve user experience and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure high levels of IT service and support by understanding how operations may impact services and planning to minimize disruptions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, including 3 years in program management within a large-scale organization.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Agile certifications (Product Owner or Scrum Master).
  • Excellent analytical skills and effective resource management.
  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
  • Expertise in contract negotiation and vendor management.
  • Demonstrated ability in decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of modern application development lifecycle concepts and adoption.
