Job Title: Senior Accountant

Overview of the Role

The Senior Accountant will oversee accounts receivable functions at both entity and group levels, ensuring timely payment from customers. The role requires credit control expertise, including managing relationships with credit insurance providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accounts receivable functions at both entity and group levels.
  • Perform credit control functions, including liaising with credit insurance providers.
  • Identify process improvements within accounts receivable function.
  • Evaluate and establish credit control for new and existing customers.
  • Review and recommend adjustments to credit terms and conditions.
  • Analyze and prepare accounts receivable aging reports.
  • Provide regular updates on outstanding receivables to management.
  • Record customer payments and apply accurately to invoices.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities and yearly audit activities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Support treasury functions by liaising with banks and forecasting cash flows.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field with 5 years' experience in credit control, treasury management, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and cash flow forecasting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, lead teams, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with credit insurance providers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP system is an advantage.
