
Insurance Claims Manager

Job Summary: To efficiently manage motor insurance claims by guiding claimants, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring optimal claims recovery and defense to minimize company losses.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accident reporting and explain the claims process to customers.
- Exercise good claims management to achieve KPI targets for claims results.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Being part of the team to ensure company losses are recovered from third parties or defended against claims arising from road accidents.
- Liaising with workshops or relevant parties to arrange with third-party insurers, solicitors, passengers, SMRT Buses/Strides Premier Fleet of Vehicles representatives.
Qualifications & Work Experience:
To be successful in this role, candidates should have a certificate or diploma in general insurance. A minimum of two years' experience in processing motor insurance claims is required. Results-oriented team players with an eye for detail and business processes in a dynamic environment are preferred.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills to identify problem causes and recommend solutions. Good negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills are also essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook, and Excel is also required.
