Cloud Data Platform Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Platform Specialist to join our team. As a Cloud Data Platform Specialist, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data architecture, pipelines, and ETL processes.
  • Develop and maintain data platforms, dashboards to support analytics and reporting.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and availability across all data platforms.
  • Develop and implement IAC and CICD to streamline and automate the deployment process.
  • Collaborate with business units, data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for efficiency and performance.
  • Provide L3 support for in-house development work and data platform/warehouse.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • Proven experience in building data platforms in Cloud.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience with IAC and Cloud services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Kafka, and Pub/Sub.
  • Familiarity with data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
