At Avensys, we are seeking a seasoned Cloud Engineering Project Manager to spearhead the delivery of our next-generation Air Traffic Management (ATM) platform. This is an exceptional opportunity to expand your skill set, achieve job satisfaction and work-life balance.

  • Lead the planning, execution and delivery of data and cloud engineering projects for the ATM platform.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define scope, milestones and delivery plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive Agile/Scrum practices, manage backlogs, conduct sprint ceremonies and ensure transparency of progress and risks.
  • Coordinate dependencies across batch and streaming pipelines, cloud infrastructure and data platforms.
  • Track and manage risks, issues and changes proactively, ensuring timely mitigation and stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet high standards of quality, security and compliance, especially in regulated or safety-critical environments.
  • Manage vendor engagement, technical documentation and project reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying delivery bottlenecks and facilitating retrospectives and action plans.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing technical projects involving cloud-native architectures and data engineering platforms.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services and data platforms, with the ability to engage confidently with engineering teams.
  • Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams, with proficiency in project tracking tools.
  • Ability to manage complex timelines, dependencies and deliverables across multiple technical workstreams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a structured approach to risk and issue management.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or a related field.
