Application Support Maintenance Manager

Transformative IT Governance and Control Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain business relationships, serving as a single point of contact for support escalations.
  • Manage IT vendor relationships and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with the team on Service Improvement Planning.
  • Assist in application rollouts, performing validation post-implementation.
  • Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans, including associated testing and maintenance.
  • Work with Infrastructure Services and other IT teams to handle downstream infrastructure-related items.
  • Focus on application security, including periodic Software Security Assessment refreshes and Security Architecture Review refreshes.
  • Ensure adherence to security frameworks and controls for applications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or IT.
  • Proven experience in Application Support, preferably in the BFSI industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Enterprise monitoring and observability domains, preferably in BFSI.
  • Experience with Enterprise logging platforms, such as Splunk or Elasticsearch.
  • Familiarity with workflow management and ITSM tools like Remedy or ServiceNow.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies and implementation experience.
  • Highly desirable: exposure to Cloud Technologies, SRE, and DevOps concepts with a focus on automation.
  • Self-directed and self-learner, with resilience and discipline.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills, with structured thinking and innovative solutions.
  • Strategic forward-thinking approach to challenges.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate, leveraging strong professional relationships to drive business outcomes.
  • Capacity to consider issues from multiple angles and appreciate diverse perspectives and complexity.
