Leading a team of physiotherapists, you will be responsible for the development and enhancement of clinical services in physiotherapy within an organisation. This includes overseeing the clinical skills development of therapists, ensuring that all clinical services and practices are safe, evidence-based, and compliant with clinical governance standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to develop and implement individualised care plans for clients with complex needs.
  • Providing clinical supervision to senior physiotherapists and/or physiotherapists, ensuring adherence to professional standards and best practices.
  • Ensuring clinical services adhere to relevant professional standards, regulations, and best practices to deliver high-quality, safe, and effective care.
  • Managing and optimising the use of clinical resources, including staff, equipment, and facilities, to maximise the impact and reach of services.
  • Providing clinical expertise, guidance, and mentorship to the team to enhance their skills and professional development.
  • Collecting, analysing, and reporting on relevant data and outcomes to measure the effectiveness of services and drive continuous improvement.
Service Development & Improvement:
  • Collaborating with department heads and clinical leads to support and/or lead the development and implementation of the organisation's clinical strategy and service provision.
  • Contributing or leading in the development and implementation of new programs and services.
  • Designing and evaluating the effectiveness of existing programs/services and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of services.
  • Monitoring and analysing clinical outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Participating in quality assurance activities and audits.
Requirements:
  • A recognised degree/master in physiotherapy.
  • Registered with allied health professional services.
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience working as a physiotherapist.

As a highly skilled physiotherapist, you will have strong clinical expertise and the ability to mentor junior staff. You will also have advanced clinical proficiency and a track record of driving service excellence, innovation, and evidence-based practices.
