Job Title: Sales Development Representative

Job Summary

As a Sales Development Representative at NetApp, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities. You will be responsible for prospecting and developing leads, performing outbound cold calling, and qualifying opportunities to pass off to the sales team. Your goal will be to build a sales pipeline by meeting and exceeding pipeline generation quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop leads to identify new sales opportunities
  • Perform outbound cold calling to generate leads and qualify opportunities
  • Responsible for making 70+ calls per day to engage with potential customers
  • Qualify opportunities and pass off to the sales team to pursue further
  • Build a sales pipeline by meeting and exceeding pipeline generation quotas
  • Develop and maintain a database of contacts of current and future customers
  • Provide follow-up on demand-generation activities to ensure customer engagement
  • Establish account presence and build trust with key contacts to drive sales growth
  • Analyze customer needs to identify opportunities for NetApp products
  • Present and articulate product features and benefits to customers
  • Integrate with both inside and field sales reps to maximize prospect potential

Requirements

  • Energetic and upbeat team player with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving measurable goals in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior objection handling experience to effectively navigate sales conversations
  • Outstanding relationship-building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity
  • Able to learn and understand product solutions and features
  • Clear understanding of Data Storage business, Cloud Services, or SaaS sales and consumption processes

Education

Bachelor's or equivalent degree with 1-2 years of job experience

Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications is a plus
