Job Overview

This role at The Standard Hotel offers a unique opportunity to join our sales team as a skilled coordinator. In this position, you will play a crucial part in maintaining relationships with clients and promoting the hotel's services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the hotel's facilities, services, and competitors' products.
  • Schedule daily activities and weekly calendars for the sales team, ensuring seamless coordination and effective communication.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth operations and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Arrange 'WOW' FAM trips/site inspections for potential clients and communicate logistics to relevant teams.
  • Promote positive relations with guests, respond promptly to inquiries, and attend to requests courteously.
  • Review guest lists, flag VIPs, and provide exceptional support to maximize sales revenue.
  • Prepare analytical reports, proposals, agreements, and presentations as required by the Sales and Business Development team.
  • Provide administrative support, handle documentation, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • A minimum 1-year working experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a 5-star hotel or equivalent position.
  • Diploma or higher degree in tourism, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, verbal, reading, and written skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office systems and Opera/CRM systems preferred.
  • Customer-centric approach, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player, motivator, and self-starter with pre-opening experience advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
