Senior Lecturer/Lecturer (Teaching Track) Role
Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore), is a leading institution in Asia providing quality education and research in public governance and administration development. The university promotes good governance in the region and beyond.
We offer six programs in English and Chinese to cater to professionals at various career stages. Faculty members on the Teaching Track report to the Director of Nanyang Centre for Public Administration (NCPA). They are expected to teach and contribute to NCPA's education objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:
  • A PhD in Economics, Political Science, Public Policy, Business, or related advanced degrees.
  • The ability to teach postgraduate-level courses in English and/or Chinese specializing in Applied Economics, Finance and Macroeconomic Policy, Public Management/Public Administration, Politics and Public Policy (especially in China), Technology and Innovation, or related areas.
  • A record of teaching in tertiary educational institutions for similar subjects is strongly preferred.
  • Interest in developing new courses in your specialization. Providing 2-3 course synopses you are keen to teach (have or have not taught) is strongly encouraged.
  • Demonstrated potential for scholarship in a research area undertaken by NCPA is an advantage. These areas include (but are not limited to) Belt & Road initiative, governance, talent strategies, and social management.
  • Candidates for the Senior Lecturer position should have extensive experience in the relevant areas of teaching and course development.
