Job Title: Operations Specialist

Job Description:

As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a critical part in managing trade operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and driving process improvements in a fast-paced financial environment.

This role involves overseeing daily trade processing, including reconciliations of positions, profit/loss, settlement issues, and corporate actions. You will deliver timely and accurate reports covering trades, portfolio positions, cash balances, expenses, and performance attribution.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mid-office operations, technical proficiency in automation tools, and a passion for optimizing workflows.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in mid-office or operations roles, ideally within a buy-side firm or prime brokerage

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of financial products, including equities, ETFs, derivatives, and foreign exchange
  • Proficiency in VBA, SQL, and Python is required
  • Proven track record of optimizing processes and implementing automated solutions, preferably in a trading context
