Job Title: Senior / Executive, Crisis Planning & Operations

 

The role of the incumbent is multifaceted, encompassing the development of scenarios and plans for medical and operational responses to communicable disease outbreaks, continuity of hospital services, civil emergencies, and national crises. Collaborating with the health ministry and hospital stakeholders, the incumbent provides guidance and support in operationalising these plans through the creation of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

 

Moreover, the incumbent plays a pivotal role in enhancing the hospital's capabilities, including operational, IT, and infrastructure capacities, to facilitate effective medical and public health responses to communicable disease outbreaks, continuity of critical services, civil emergencies, and mass casualty incidents.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of scenarios and plans for medical and operational responses to communicable disease outbreaks, continuity of hospital services, civil emergencies, and national crises, working closely with the health ministry and hospital stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
  • Support the enhancement of hospital capabilities, including operational, IT, and infrastructure capacities, to enable effective medical and public health responses to communicable disease outbreaks, continuity of critical services, civil emergencies, and mass casualty incidents.

 

Qualifications:

  • Holder of a degree with at least 2 years' experience in operations-related fields.
  • Prior working experience in hospital operations and/or emergency response management, or a medical and nursing background, would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in IT applications, such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
