Marine Specialty Claims Leader

Job Description:
">- We are seeking an experienced claims professional to lead our marine specialty claims team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the regional portfolio for marine claims (hull & machinery, cargo, FFL). Your primary focus will be on providing delivery of claims services, determining proper policy coverage, investigating, evaluating, and negotiating assigned cases.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of insurance industry and claims processes, excellent customer service skills, and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. You should be able to maintain current knowledge of insurance guidelines and policy changes, contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve Claims systems and procedures, and approve claims within appropriate authority levels.
