About the Role

We are seeking a Marine Specialty Claims Manager to join our team.

This is a key leadership role that oversees and drives claims performance throughout the region, supports the implementation of claims management strategies and objectives, maintains current knowledge of insurance guidelines and policy changes, and contributes to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve claims systems and procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and driving claims performance, supporting the implementation of claims management strategies and objectives, maintaining current knowledge of insurance guidelines and policy changes, and contributing to the refinement of processes and procedures.

  • Oversee and drive claims performance throughout the region
  • Schedule meetings with cross-functional teams to discuss ongoing projects and share insights
  • Develop training programs to upskill staff on insurance guidelines and policy changes
  • Identify areas for process improvements and propose solutions to senior management
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise Claims staff
  • Ensure legitimate claims are paid in accordance with policy conditions
  • Maintain good client relationships with the insured, agents, service providers, and the general public
  • Respond to client requests in accordance with service standards
Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of insurance industry and claims processes
