Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the plant, ensuring that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes monitoring performance metrics, analyzing data, and implementing process improvements to meet key performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and report on plant performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Analyze plant operation data to inform decisions and drive process optimization.
  • Direct the operations team to ensure optimal plant performance and meet key performance targets.
  • Propose, carry out, and maintain process optimization work to improve plant performance in terms of production process, water quality, and cost control.
  • Assist the Operations Manager with oversight of day-to-day operations, including dispatch quantity, water quality, energy consumption, HSE requirements, and budget management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hold a Polytechnic Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or other related engineering fields.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of operation experience, preferably in Water treatment plant.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings (ACAD) & P&ID, computer literate, and familiar with Microsoft programs and other engineering software.
  • Knowledge or experience in SCADA / PLC control operations is an added advantage.
