Rotating Equipment Engineer

As a Rotating Equipment Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the technical integrity and compliance of rotating equipment engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct rotational equipment design and site surveys for projects, from concept definition to detailed commissioning.
  • Evaluate company technical assurance practices, engineering standards, environmental and safety policies for incorporation and adherence.
  • Review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines, codes, and practices.
  • Support the Engineering Department in reviewing and updating company standards and external standards.
  • Plan and coordinate multidiscipline engineer activities for timely delivery of technical services.
  • Coordinate engineering designs, develop and review workscopes for projects and other engineering activities.
  • Review and approve method statements for scope compliance and liaise with contracted organizations to resolve technical issues.
  • Develop, update, and monitor schedules for in-house engineering activities and contribute to external project scheduling.
  • Conduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scope compliance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer/Professional Engineer status or equivalent.
  • 10 years of relevant post-graduate experience, with 6 years in the rotating equipment industry.
  • Ability to identify and utilize relevant engineering standards and codes related to rotating equipment engineering.
  • Proven ability to manage time, cost, and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environment.
  • Good communication and presentation skills with fluency in English.
