Rotating Equipment Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Rotating Equipment Professional to join our team in Tuas South Refinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in the maintenance and reliability of rotating equipment.

About the Role

This is a challenging role that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and lifecycle reliability management of all rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, agitators, and fans. They will also collaborate with internal stakeholders across Singapore and other Neste sites to ensure effective maintenance and reliability activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all rotating equipment and systems are installed and maintained in accordance with recognized good engineering practices and relevant established codes, standards, published technical reports, recommended practices, or similar documents.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Singapore and other Neste sites, as well as external stakeholders including suppliers and experts, to ensure effective maintenance and reliability activities pertaining to rotating equipment and systems.
  • Partner with the Rotating Lead for the establishment and effective implementation of predictive and preventive maintenance programs and plans, utilizing effective tools, best practices, and procedures.
  • Coordinate and participate in all refinery safety programs.
  • Contribute to the improvement and implementation of the site Reliability Strategy, develop and execute Maintenance and Reliability work processes, and support the delivery of the site's Reliability culture.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in a Refinery and Petrochemical process technical environment, with at least 10 years focused on Rotating Equipment.
  • Essential prior experience in Turnarounds (TAs), projects, and maintenance execution, coupled with a thorough understanding of Operations, Maintenance, and engineering practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Rotating Equipment petrochemical standards, including ASME and API.
