\Job Description:

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of civil and structural works on site. With a strong focus on compliance, quality, and safety standards, this position demands an individual who can effectively coordinate and supervise various stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

\Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee civil and structural works at the site to ensure adherence to design, quality, and safety standards.
  • Liaise with consultants, architects, and subcontractors to resolve technical and site issues efficiently.
  • Review and analyze structural and architectural drawings, method statements, and work schedules to guarantee their accuracy and feasibility.
  • Monitor progress closely and provide regular updates to the Project Manager, highlighting any potential concerns or deviations from the plan.
  • Conduct thorough site inspections to verify that workmanship meets regulatory and project requirements.
  • Ensure strict compliance with building codes, local authorities' regulations, and workplace safety standards.
  • Assist in managing permits, inspections, and documentation for civil/structural works, guaranteeing seamless communication between stakeholders.
  • Offer technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases, providing expertise to ensure projects are completed within time and budget constraints.
\Requirements:
  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in C&S coordination in construction projects is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of local building codes and regulations is essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to interpret engineering and structural drawings accurately is crucial.
  • Familiarity with site safety protocols and coordination of site activities is vital.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills are necessary for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (or other CAD software) is expected.
