Civil and Structural Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Civil and Structural Design Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will support the design and supervision of new erections, additions, and alterations to existing buildings, earth retaining and stabilizing systems, specialist designs for facades, glass, demolition works, and temporary works.

The role involves detailed analysis and design of civil, structural, and geotechnical works, preparation of design calculation reports and structural drawings for authorities' submissions, coordination with various stakeholders, and supervision and inspection of construction works.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Carry out detailed analysis and design of civil, structural, and geotechnical works;
  • Prepare design calculation reports and structural drawings for authorities' submissions;
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders such as clients, consultants, and contractors for projects;
  • Supervise and inspect construction works;

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized Institution, strong engineering fundamentals, and analytical skills in geotechnical and structural analysis and design work. Familiarity with design and drafting software such as Autocad, Staad Pro, Plaxis, Prota, and Tedds would be an advantage. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and more senior positions require at least 3 to 4 years of design experience. Passing FEE 1 and FEE 2 are an advantage for senior hires.
