We are looking for a dedicated Financial Operations Analyst to join our team at This Is An IT Support Group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that equity, fixed income, cash, FX and Unit Trust trades are confirmed on a timely basis, settlement instructions are sent accurately & timely and settlement issues or fails are pro-actively dealt with and resolved.

A key aspect of this role is to handle the investigation and resolution of any interest claims that may arise.

Requirements:
  • A good understanding of equity, fixed income, cash, FX and Unit Trust asset classes
  • Relevant experience within a trade management team
  • Ability to undertake comprehensive training and development opportunities related to Operations
  • Good risk awareness associated within trade operations with a proactive approach to preventative measures
  • Wider experience in Asset Management and understanding of the end-to-end asset lifecycle
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong handle on operational risk
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
