We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to fill the role of System Administrator responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and implement system changes within specified service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Provide timely and accurate documentation, reports, and information to management as required

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2019 and related technologies, including Active Directory, SCOM, SCCM, and Netbackup.

In this critical support role, you will be expected to:

  • Monitor system and application logs to identify potential issues and ensure integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes
  • Collaborate with vendors and other stakeholders to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system-related problems efficiently
  • Promptly notify customers of any new security vulnerabilities or advisories affecting their systems

You will also be responsible for obtaining updates and patches from equipment/software vendors and implementing them on affected systems after customer approval.

This position requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality service.

Requirements
  • Diploma/degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of hands-on technical experience in Windows Server 2019

Additional requirements include proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory, SCOM, SCCM, and Veritas - Netbackup.
