Job Overview:
The Localisation Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of localisation projects. This includes overseeing the quality of localised content, managing linguistic teams, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of localisation work, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
Quality Monitoring: Monitor and improve the quality of localised content, providing feedback to vendors and escalating issues as needed.
Vendor Management: Assess and onboard new vendors, build relationships with linguists, and manage vendor performance.
Strategic Planning: Provide market insights to inform central localisation strategy, identify opportunities for growth, and develop plans to achieve business objectives.
Culture and Communication: Foster a culture of inclusion and respect, promoting open communication and collaboration across teams.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in localisation or a related field.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality localisation solutions.
Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising multiple tasks and deadlines.
Strong understanding of localisation technology, including CATs, TMSs, MT, and post-editing.
Fluency in English and proficiency in Chinese (or other relevant languages).
