Duty Manager

Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled Duty Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our lounge.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience and coordinating with various department managers. The role requires strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills as well as excellent customer service orientation and ability to manage diverse teams.

Key responsibilities include supervising F&B and lounge operations during assigned shifts, acting as the point of contact for guest concerns and feedback, coordinating with various teams within the lounge to maintain service standards, monitoring lounge occupancy, cleanliness and service flow, making real-time adjustments as needed, ensuring compliance with airport regulations, safety protocols and hygiene standards, supporting staff performance by providing guidance, coaching and on-the-spot training, handling incidents, emergencies and irregular operations professionally and efficiently, preparing shift reports and communicating key updates to the Manager and relevant departments, and assisting with staff scheduling, inventory checks, and operational planning as required.

Requirements
  • Experience in hospitality or airline lounge operations, preferably in a F&B supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with airport protocols, safety standards and guest service systems.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
