Design for Safety Professional

We are seeking an experienced Design for Safety (DfS) expert to lead our projects. As a DfS professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all stakeholders involved in the project.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with stakeholders including designers, contractors and subcontractors to facilitate communication of vital information that could affect safety and health risks in the project.
  • Convene DfS Review Meetings via Workshops as necessary to identify all foreseeable design and construction risks in the project and discuss how each of the foreseeable design and construction risks can be eliminated or reduced.
  • Prepare, develop and submit DfS Register containing information and records on every DfS Review Meeting convened and every residual design risk in the project to the relevant authority.
  • Ensure that the DfS Register is kept up to date at all times.
  • Propose a systematic review process for approval.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering or Architecture.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in DfS or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of DfS Regulations and Guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
